I am the founder and publisher of Kudos Press, a language arts and communications independent press. I have several publishing divisions: Kevin Fox Design, Fox4Editing, and Fox&Flower, to name a few.
I am co-founder of Radio Sunnyvale, a podcast hyperlocal news service in Sunnyvale, CA.
I am a graduate of the Leadership Sunnyvale program, class of 2009 and currently sit on the Board of Directors for Silicon Valley Leadership.
My professional background is in teaching English as a second or foreign language, tutoring foreign professionals in English language acquisition, and teaching creative writing to senior citizens.
I have my MA in TESOL from San Francisco State where I learned communicative language learning: the balanced application of speaking, listening, reading and writing in a way that has communicative meaning for individuals and small groups.
I have three certificates in creative writing from the Institute of Children’s Literature for: writing for children and teenagers, creating and selling short stories and articles, and, writing and selling children’s books. A few years ago, I wrote a pre-teen adventure novel called Border Smugglers and several short picture books for teaching ESL to children.
